Anyone know more species of ‘mimosa trees’?
Mimosa pudica, silk tree, wattle mimosa, flame tree, jacaranda, and Brazilian rain tree is all I can find for now. Google isn’t always helpful for iPhone and just in general. @SharMallow definitely. I didn’t water it for 2 days and it nearly died. I don’t think I’ve ever had a problem with root rot, though. I’ll check. And the plant is picky about the spot it is in. It closes up and looks sad when it’s on a southwestern facing window, but it likes the west.
@SharMallow I saw a beautiful tree down the street in someone’s yard. You should totally do it and I will soon too. Good luck!

Well I did sow 7 seeds and to my surprise they are starting to sprout. We'll see what happens after they go into their own pots. So far so good 👍
