This type of planter provides stability, crucial for the top-heavy nature of the plant. Ensure the pot has drainage holes to prevent root rot, and use a well-draining mix. Consider a larger planter to accommodate slow growth, providing a slightly cramped root space for optimal conditions. Personally I would choose a concrete pot as they are the most stable. I like the brand Kante, which is available at Amazon, Home Depot, Lowe’s, target etc. attached is my ZZ plant in a white kante planter for you to get an idea.
