She did not take well to being shipped in the midwestern ...
#Syngonium #WhiteButterfly
Her leaves withered and fell, and she was rooting out of her nursery pot.
I repotted and trimmed the dead leaves, besides that mold the roots look fine (i think?)
Basically, the roots are healthy but sheβs bald now. Is there any chance sheβll grow?

@greenthumbplumb Oh dear, Im so sorry! π But hey, with roots that good looking, you could always try! At least I would! βΊοΈ
I would just make sure your syngonium has a very stable, warm, and humid environment while it hopefully makes a full recovery. I would put it under a humidity dome, clear Rubbermaid style bin, or you could even just rubber band a ziplock bag over the top of the pot. If you have a seedling heat mat, I would put the pot on it, with a towel or tray between the pot and the mat. If you donβt have a heat mat, I would put your syngonium in the warmest (65Β°-80Β°, but 70Β°-80Β° would be best) most stable spot in your place. Crack the lid of the humidity dome, box, at least every day, or a few times per week, depending on your climate. You just donβt want the air to be too stagnant for too long because thatβs a good environment for fungus/bacteria. Hopefully you still have some viable nodes that new growth can happen. You probably wonβt need to water too much at all, just try to keep the substrate evenly and lightly moist, without letting it dry out or too soggy. Good luck!! π«ΆπΌπ©ΆπΏ Let us know if we can help your further. I would love an update π€πΌ

If they did not offer winter protection for you to buy, send photo and ask for refund.
If you did buy winter protection, send email with photo and ask for refund.
If they did offer it and you didn't buy winter protection, this is unfortunately will be a long recovery. You did right to recover, hoping it grows for you.
