I like espoma houseplant food. Just ordered espoma cactus and succulent food. Has living microbes in it. Walmart had it on sale last week for 8.99 but today it's back up to 12.99. This 8 ounce bottle will last as you only use 1/2 cupful per quart. I only mix what I intend to use even if it means mixing up another quart or 2.
I only use HB101 on my tropicals. Works well for me.
