Buy in plants off amazon

Have any of you ever bought a plant from Amazon and if so how was your experience?
#Plants
Yes I have. Very good experience. Make sure you read the reviews
Totally depends on the seller. The plants don't come direct from Amazon, the sellers are just the same ones you'd find on Etsy or elsewhere online. Most of the big nurseries/commercial growers list plants for sale in multiple different marketplaces for increased exposure and sales.
@JPR yes I have bought from both Amazon and Etsy. I’ve had good and bad luck. It kind of depends on the season, how far the plant has to travel and the type of plant. I’m like Amazon just don’t buy plants in self watering pots.
I bought my string of pearls from Amazon. It came packaged super good. Was in good condition and is thriving and I’ve not moved it from the pot it came in. Totally depends on the seller.
I so agree with everyone here. I got a few small cacti from amazon, foolishly not knowing the seller. They came in a box so small, you wouldn’t think the dirt would have spilled EVERYWHERE. One of the cacti didn’t have any dirt at all. Most were barely alive. They looked like they hadn’t been watered for a few months. Not good. But, it’s not all bad news if you want a plant from amazon. I’m sure there are some good sellers..
