why is my cebu blue pothos being dramatic..

I tried having it on my east facing window sill and it’s leaves are turning yellow, I get the most morning sun from here and doesn’t seem like too much so I thought it would be happy, now I have it a little further away from the window and it seemed happier but leaves are turning yellow still.. I’m also watering it once a week or two not sure why it’s acting unhappy? It’s lost all its colorπŸ˜” #CebuBluePothos #Pothos #yellowing #unhappyplants #help

Cebu Blue Pothos ( Epipremnum pinnatum 'Cebu Blue') leaves typically turn yellow due to overwatering, which causes root stress or rot, or due to improper lighting, such as direct sun scorch or insufficient light. Other common causes include inconsistent watering, nutrient deficiencies (nitrogen, iron, or magnesium), or cold drafts. Overwatering (Most Common): The soil remains too wet, leading to soggy, yellowing leaves. excessive, consistent moisture often causes the leaves to turn yellow, and you need to check the soil for moisture before watering again! Underwatering: If the plant is too dry, it will turn yellow and become crunchy.
Improper Light: They prefer bright, indirect light; too much direct light can cause yellowing from sun scorch, while too little light can lead to yellowing and small leaves.
Over-fertilization: Excessive fertilizer can cause a chemical burn that presents as yellowing leaves.
