Advice on care for this guy?

I all but killed my first silver sparkle, it seems to be trying to make a comeback which is great, but I just wanted to see what y'all do to care for your silver sparkles! Like, how much light is best, how often do you water, etc? I couldn't resist buying another one when I saw it in the store, so I'm determined to help this one thrive! #pilea #silversparklepilea #advice
2ft to light, direct
4” pot with drainage
Last watered 3 years ago
Mine loves bright indirect light. I also let the soil get almost dry. It’s in a hanging pot, so I check it by weight before watering.

I also rotate it after watering so it’s nice and bushy. It’s hasn’t given me fuss yet, so I guess it’s working
😳 Holy cow that is gorgeous!! Oh my God I hope to get mine to look like that someday! Thank you! I have moved my first sad one to a table under a grow light, I'm hoping that will help. My second one is actually hanging from my ceiling fan in my bedroom, where my one window is north facing. It's pretty weak-feeling light, I'm not sure if it will be enough, so maybe I should move it. Good advice for rotating it, I have been trying to do that with all my hanging plants. Hopefully they'll both do alright!
@UnbiasedTree once it’s long enough to start trimming, the cuttings propagate pretty easily in water. Then you can keep planting until it’s bushy enough for your liking ☺️ I put a little stand in with all my props because they are so small
That's good to know! Thank you, I will look out for good trimmings. My first pilea now looks like this which is a big sad, but there's teeny amounts of new growth so he may just pull through lol
