This is treeyonce. Shes growing pups but I still can’t figure out what type of plant this is, although the app says it’s a golden torch cactus can anyone confirm?

@WholesomeMilk first of all, shoutout to the name Treeyoncé because Queen Bey would absolutely approve of all those backup pups she’s sprouting. From the look of her round, ribbed shape, fierce spines, and those adorable little offsets (a.k.a. plant babies poppin’ off like a summer hit), this queen looks way more like a Parodia magnifica or Notocactus, not a Golden Torch. Golden Torches (Echinopsis spachiana) usually grow tall and columnar think more runway model than disco ball. Your girl is serving short, stacked, and thriving. that dry crusty top center? Totally normal cactus behavior—it’s callus tissue where she’s sealed up a past wound or growth spot. Think of it as a botanical battle scar. She’s still living her best life, no serum needed. I think it’s Not Golden Torch. More like Notocactus or a Parodia, definitely a globe shaped cutie
