@FaithfulIvy African violets are very picky. They will droop if they are over watered, underwater or experienced too cold temp. I see that your plant is in a plastic container without drainage. For this plant to thrive I would suggest reotting in a terra cotta or clay pot, this helps get air to the roots. With the drainage it ensures that it isnt sitting in water, this causes root rot. Also these guys like thier soil refreshed every six months.

When repotting check the roots remove any dead mushy roots and put in a good draining soil, some places sell african violet soil. But cactus or orchid soils would work. They also need fertilizer, there is african violet food that works great! Also these guys do better in filtered south or west facing, about 3 feet from the window! Hope this helps. Bets of luck. African violets are beautiful plants. And if they are happy they can keep blooming once a month!!
Over watering is usually the case. It really takes a lot of experience to water a plant without drainage. You should change the pot quickly and let it dry out.
African violets like to be moist so I would think it's more of a sunlight issue. Make sure you're using African violet potting soil because it has the appropriate nutrition for that plant.๏ฟผ
