Question about leaves

Ive noticed a few of my trees leaves droop at night... so i water them again...
But my question is do some of these trees droop for bed? I feel like I remember reading about that with other plants.

It's normal for some trees and plants to have leaves that droop at night as part of their natural circadian rhythms. This process is known as nyctinasty, where the leaves or flowers respond to the onset of darkness by folding or drooping. It doesn't necessarily indicate that your plants need more water. Overwatering in response to this natural drooping could actually lead to problems like root rot. It's best to check the soil moisture before watering to ensure your plants really need it.
@Gustavo Nyctinasty is one of my ALL TIME fave planty words! Along with Heliotrope 🀣 They're just great fun to say aren't they?! πŸ₯° Xx
Ah I thought so... well dang.. luckily it's in course substrate and a draining see thru pot altho i don't think it took well to the fertilizing (one of the trees I had mentioned in my other post that I finally fertilized)
@JenniB81 hahahah although I *love* studying botanics and nowadays most of what I read is in English, I gotta say I still struggle with most of the vocab πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ but it’s a pretty great planty word
