I have never grown anything from seed before until now. Does anyone have tips for seedling care? I am trying to grow sunflowers and black-eyed susans. Hi Rory, take a pointed pencil. Put a half inch hole in some potting soil in a pot. Place the seed(s) in the hole. Water lightly. Take a clear plastic cup or saran wrap and cover the top of the pot with it. If you use saran wrap, put a rubber band around the pot holding on the wrap. This will create a little greenhouse. This is good method that I have been using for years. Good luck. οΏΌ
