Ants living in the medium?!
I watered my purple pitcher plant this morning and ants came rolling out of the pot as I filled the reservoir. Weβve gotten a lot of rain and I just cannot get rid of ants in my kitchen. What can I use to get rid of the ants thatβs safe for a purple pitcher plants?

Hi there ! Sorry youβre experiencing ants, at one time they raided every plant I had (outside on the ground)! Iβd repot your plant to make sure you get the ants out, but then maybe put a saucer under it with some diatomaceous earth ? Obviously move the saucer when you water but the diatomaceous earth should dry out the ants & prevent them from getting in the pot. Just an idea βΊοΈ hope you find a good solution! οΏΌοΏΌ
