I agree with @AggroResting - I don't even thing I look at the amounts. I was prompted to water my monster Monstera in a 16" pot 2 cups of water. No, thank you. I water until the water comes through the soil and out the bottom of the pot.
@PLEAVES47 the only time I would worry about the quantity of water, would be if there were no drainage holes.
