@SlinkyPignut18 Hi Karen ๐ I would say that it's a strong possibility. Especially if it happened a day or so after you watered it. Remove the yellow leaves and wait a bit longer in between waterings and see if that stops them from turning. ๐๐
She has Brown Spot Disease. It's very common on Brazilian Jasmine. You can tell by the brown circles with yellow centers.
It weakens the plant causing yellow leaves and leaf drop.
It is caused by high humidity and loves wet conditions.
Here is how to treat it:
1. Isolate that plant because the fungal spores can spread to other plants.
2. Remove affected leaves and dispose of them.
3. Treat with a copper fungicide. Once a week until no new symptoms appear.
4. Throughout treatment do not put her in the sun the fungicide will cause her to burn.
After treatment try to keep her where rain won't fall in her.
Increase air circulation you want air flow from the wind that will help prevent it from coming back.
Keep an eye on your other plants this fungus can spread from the wind.
When you water, water in the morning. So if water splashes she has time to dry and water is never sitting on the leaves.
