Moved a plant outside
Is it safe to say that a plant outdoors in Texas would need more water than a plant indoors? I update my plant in the app but it still shows the same amount of water in the same amount of time frame. Should I still follow this?
@ProlificDuwei The app is run by Ai as you water your plant it will learn its schedule then inform you that it's time for you to check on your plant to see if it's ready to be watered. When the app tells you that it's time to water always check to see if your plant is ready for a drink. Usually when the first couple of inches down into the soil is dry. It's time to water. You can use your finger to check the soils dryness or you can put a chopstick down into the soil to check it. If the stick comes out dry with no soil on it then it probably needs water. But always check your plant before you blindly water it. Yes Texas weather will definitely dry soil faster than other climates. If your plants soil is still moist when the app tells you to check swipe left to snooze the plant. The app will bring it back around again in a few days for you to check it again. Then when you water it swipe right to let the app know you've done it. As the summer goes on and your soil dries out quicker the app will start to ask you sooner. I hope this helps. πππͺ΄
