4” pot with drainage
Last watered 9 months ago
Cactus need 6-8 hours of direct sun a day and they need to be in good draining soil (succulent/cactus soil), and a terracotta or unglazed clay pot. Watering only every 10-14 days, or when soil is almost all dry. Plastic pots are not good because it doesn’t allow the soil or the roots to breathe like terracotta or unglazed clay. If you’re repotting, go up only an inch, no more than 2 inches size from what it’s in, and check the roots for rot- they’ll be brown/black, mushy and smell bad if they have root rot. Repot asap if you’re wanting to try and save it, and be sure to let it get as much direct sun as possible. I hope this helps.
@SillyPlantGirl Thank you! I did repot it this afternoon and while i dont have a better pot I made sure the soil had better drainage. Does the cactus look saveable?
