Why is my bonsai turning yellow???

I’ve been growing this black locust for about a year now from seed, About a month ago at this point, along with another, because their roots had completely outgrown their old pots. They have both been doing amazing in their new pots getting lots of new growth until recently this one has been rapidly turning yellow. I’m not sure what’s wrong with it or what i could do about ? Help!!! I don’t want it to completely die out and lose all it’s leaves :( #BlackLocust #Bonsai #Help #yellowLeaves
I always do a checklist when my plants throw a fit:

Watering: has the climate changed and should I adjust my watering? Do we need more or less humidity?

Fertiliser: could be a nutrient deficiency.

Pests: always check underside of leaves and stem for pests

Roots: check for any root rot or pests that destroy root systems.

If it’s only the lower leaves then it could just be yellowing due to age.

Hope that helps!
@Valfalfa Thank you so much! Do you think maybe it could be the weather? It’s been fairly cold where I live then just this past week has been very warm and is getting much colder again, could it be the crazy shifts in weather? Haven’t seen any bugs, and they’re in clear plastic pots so i can see roots and they all seem fine!
@NurseButterbush it could be confusing seasons !!!

Had an alocasia go dormant on me because we had a cold snap during summer !! Plants are funny like that hahah
