Are the brown tips on my zebra plant not healthy tips?

Brown tips aren't "healthy", but they don't necessarily mean your plant is unhealthy either. Brown tips on a zebra plant can be a result of underwatering, too much direct sunlight, or some combo of the two. Although they're succulents, they can't tolerate as much intense direct sun as other varieties, but they still need a bright spot with plenty of light. An east-facing window is a good choice because it only gets direct sun in the AM, which is much gentler than PM sun.
