If it's in good health and you haven't experienced any issues, it's ok to fertilize once a month during its active growing season. Either use a fertilizer specifically made for cactus, or use regular fertilizer that's been diluted to a max of 25% strength.

@stephonicle thanks. I do have a fertilizer for cactus. I will use that and follow the other tips I have seen on here. I am looking forward to Christmas blooms!

I personally have only fertilized mine once so far! 🥴 Many months ago! Thanks for the reminder 🙃 I recommend the Slow Release Dynamite Cactus Fertilizer. Supposed to last up to 6 months. It’s worked well for mine so far!
