@CactusKid hi! There are some real orchid experts here on Greg, but I know enough to keep one alive, and I’m proud of that. 😆so I will share my basic knowledge of orchids with you. (This is part one) if the roots are healthy you can water it when the roots turn silver instead of green and place it on a fairy bright spot to keep it flowering. Also I use the miracle grow orchid spray fertilizer and spray the leaves with it.
@CactusKid (part 2) if your orchid has sphagnum moss stuffed into the pot, or if you can see rotted dead roots , then you may want to expedite repotting into a chunky well draining orchid bark mix. When you do the repot you should cut off any rotted or completely shriveled up roots.
@CactusKid OMG 😆 I just looked at your oasis to get a look at this new orchid and saw the Lego one first. I thoughtht it was real until I zoomed in! lol. I’ve got to get one of those!!!
