White on my Date Palm
Hello, Iโm new to this and especially with the #PygmyDatePalm and I was wondering why is there white? Is it stressed or underwatered?
I have another but no signs of white. I water them the same amount. Just no idea. Thanks in advance!

@GregWilliams28 Welcome to the Greg community! I have several Palm trees, none are outside, I did some research and found this. A Pygmy Date Palm turning white in Arizona after being planted in the ground is likely due to a natural waxy coating on young leaves, or potentially a fungal issue like powdery mildew. The white coating on young leaves is normal and will disappear as they mature. If the white appearance is powdery and widespread, it could be powdery mildew, which can be treated with a fungicide. Hope this helps.
