I’m a novice, truly brand new to succulents. I have a water softener and am wondering if my tap water is ok or I should use distilled or bottled water instead?

I live in an area with very soft water. I use filtered tap water on my plants, mainly succulents, with no issues.

i believe softened tap water is fine, i know for a fact hard tap water is fine (ive been using it to water my succulents for years). if you want whats absolutely best for them though, set up a rainwater collection system and use that for water. or just put them outside when it rains if that happens often enough where you live i guess. water quality isnt suuuuuper important though, id focus more on potting mix composition and lighting for now since those are the two absolute most important things for succulents and can be kinda difficult to understand/get right
