Browning in the new leaves
Hi! My plant was thriving but now in the same spot the new leaves have started to brown even before they completely develop. Is it getting too much sun? Thanks!

@UnusualCashew59 This could be a host of things sunburn included. How often do you water it ? To much or to little water will also cause this problem. Then there’s a possibility that it has a deficiency of proper nutrients . Do you fertilize it and how often . I realize it’s not an answer just pointing out what could be happening. Hopefully something will ring a bell. Best of luck I love mine .

Main CausesTap Water Minerals: Excess fluoride or chlorine in regular tap water builds up in the plant and burns new emerging leaves.Inconsistent Watering: Letting the soil dry out completely and then soaking it heavily shocks the new growth.Low Humidity: Air that is too dry causes the fragile new edges to dehydrate before they unfurl. @UnusualCashew59 The best location for a Dracaena lemon lime is a spot with bright, indirect sunlight, such as near an east-facing window or a few feet back from a south- or west-facing window. Light and PlacementBest spot: Near an east-facing window for soft morning light.Alternative spot: A few feet away from bright south or west windows, or behind a sheer curtain.What to avoid: Direct harsh sun (which burns the leaves) and dark rooms with no natural light. Environment and TemperatureTemperature: Keep in warm rooms between 60°F and 80°F.Air flow: Keep away from cold drafts, air conditioning vents, and heaters.Safety note: Place out of reach of pets and small children, as the plant is toxic if eaten.
