Can anyone please help. Has plant been identified correctly?

#Dracaena
10” pot with drainage
Last watered 1 year ago
@CreationLover it’s a Chlorophytum Cososum also known as an airplane plant.
@KikiGoldblatt Wow, thank you. Never heard of this plant before. Was attracted to its beautiful orange colour just above the roots. Thank you so much. 😃🤗
@CreationLover you are so very welcome.
@KikiGoldblatt Greg identified it as Cornstalk Dracaena. Just had a look online. Is that the same as a spider plant?
@CreationLover I did some more digging. I am 💯 certain that it’s this one since it has orange in it. Chlorophytum orchidastrum (Fire Flash)
Yes, that’s it. It looks just like that.
@CreationLover

Keep this plant consistently moist, away from direct sunlight and cold temperatures to maintain its colour and prevent leaves turning black. Avoid root rot by checking the first two inches of soil for moisture before watering. If the soil feels dry, its time to water!
@KikiGoldblatt Amazing eye! Oh my gosh this plant is stunning 😍 I never knew it existed until now…arghh I can’t add it to the list…can I? 🤣
@CreationLover from what I was reading it’s part of the spider plant family.

Here is a link on your plant.

@KikiGoldblatt Thank you so much, you are awesome. Sounds like it’s in a good spot but the leaves still turn black occasionally. Wondering if it’s too warm. 🤔
@HoyaAddict Thank you. Yes that definitely is a want and wish list. You can never have too many plants in my opinion.
Anyone know if this is safe around dogs/cats?
It is beautiful.
