Yes he should be fine!! Just give him time... Sometimes they can take a month or more to start rooting (especially at this time of year!).
I had a Ficus Tineke cutting that did NOTHING for almost TEN WHOLE WEEKS! and then suddenly started rooting ð he's now happily potted up and putting out new leaves ðĨ°
Just be patient (I know it's not easy! ð) x
