Pest or Edema?

#Hoya what are these black spots on Bella leaves?
6” pot with drainage
Last watered 1 week ago
@IvyMari what’s the air circulation like around this plant?
@TheOddAsity not much I guess. It’s inside. There’s a humidifier at the opposite corner of the room. No fans in the room
Hard to tell. Do you see any "wooden" nodes or kind of weird looking spots where the new growth would be? I had some edema looking just like this on other hoya, but I would still always be on the lookout for mites. How are you watering her? I find edema on a bella odd because they are so very, very thirsty and I almost continually keep my substrate wet anyway. Edema is more of an inconsistent (or way too much) watering thing
Fungal? Too much humidity? How is the drainage ? Bella’s are a thirsty Hoya one of the few. How often do you water ? I see your medium is chunky . Are you watering it more often due to the chunky medium?
@IvyMari I think it’s edema from the leaves taking on too much water, but it’s hard to say for sure. Inspect for bugs. And place in a bright south facing window to help dry the soil faster to avoid any more damage from edema.
