What is the white powder on the end of my cactus?
I do not know how to describe it. There is white powdery stuff on the end of my cactus. There are also little white flakes all over the plant that fell off because of it. How do I get rid of it? What is it?

It's powdery mildew. It's a kind of fungus, but it's harmless, because it only grows on the surface. You need to increase the air circulation around the cactus, or put the cactus out in the Sun. This mould doesn't like moving air and the Sun, and it will shrivel and disappear on it's own.
