I cut all the way back to the end. The green part is where all the seeds are and meets the red stem. Keeps it more tidy 😊. Really cute plant btw πŸ™Œ

I trim them back so the plant focuses more on leaf development! Trim all the way to the base/main stem.
My watermelon pep was doing the same thing! I started accusing my poor dog of smelling up our sunroom- turns out these blooms smell like yeasty rotten potatoes lol! Cut them off, no more smell! My poor dog couldn’t even defend himself. 🀣🀣
