I would cut off the dead ones. What’s the soil like? A lot of my plants soil got hydrophobic over the winter and weren’t really absorbing water properly. Just a thought I’m interested to see what more experienced folks have to say. I haven’t had that specific plant before.
@LiftLashPlant I’m wondering if I should add some plant food of some sort to the soil. Or repot it and check the roots? Maybe the soil is off.
@AceWitchhazel96 Yeah I’ve been in the repotting process replacing most of their soil. It’s a good time of year to do it although I’ve found with grow lights I’ve been able to repot as necessary. Like I said though I think the winter and dry indoor heat may have done a number to most of their soil.
How long has it been in that soil? A general rule of thumb is it needs new soil anywhere after a year or two.
I would get a second opinion as well as mine but if you repot I wouldn’t fertilize right away. The new soil should have the nutrients it needs. Over time soil depletes in nutrients because your plant uses them.
Sometimes plants go through a little shock with repotting so fertilizing too quickly may be too much stress.
I’m thinking fresh soil and fertilizer after 3-4 months
@LiftLashPlant it has probably been 9 months. So maybe I should repot. I’ll wait for other responses too. Thank you!
