Lavender Plant’s Flowers are Turning Green #Lavender

I’ve noticed that my lavender plants flowers are turning green for some reason. Does anyone know why that is?

Are you talking about this part? The little purple flowers come from there and when they fall away, you're left with the part they used to hold the flowers... clearly I don't know the name of it! 😆

Your lavender looks so good! I've never been able to keep lavender happy. Great job!!
