I am not getting a lot of flowers on my morning glories. When flowers fall off, a claw like branch is left. Should this be cut back to the main vine to signal more growth, or will more flowers grow here? There's many on my vines but not many flowers...

@CalmWhitfieldia  Hi  Holli if your morning glory is a fresh plant new to your garden,It will take a few years to establish itself.The flowers before blooming look like little balls with 4 or five little spikes.

Oh ya sorry I forgot , don’t take the flowers off. The seeds they make start new plants each year .
