What are these brown spots under the leaves?

My variegated peperomia obtusifolia has been growing so well that I've chopped her top off several times to make propogations. however, was wondering about these brown spots under the leaves. do I need to be worried about them? most of them have it. they don't seem to be on the leaf, but rather part of the actual leaf itself.

It could potentially be thrips damage (check out the picture for an example of what thrips damage on a Peperomia leaf looks like)
sorry, pic didnโ€™t upload the first time!
@lazyplantparent omg! that would be the worst ๐Ÿ˜ญ I've had a look around the leaves and don't see any thrips (I know they're tinyyyy) but will keep an eye out...
@Irienys was this indeed thrips damage. I just found quite a few of my leaves with this on it. I thought it was fungal so I cut the ?infected leaves and treated with copper insecticide. The poor plant looks awful now. I inspected all the leaves and Iโ€™m not seeing any bugs anywhere.
@MeekCamphorweed I don't see any thrips on my plant either, but another plant did have a thrips infestation a few months back, so it could have come from there. hoping that they're all gone now tho. I'm not seeing any damage on the new leaves.
