Lantana leaves turning black and shriveling?

This plant was fine yesterday and actually thriving! So far this is happening on two parts of the plant but I want to stop it before it spreads! #Lantana #PlantEmergency
Hey! My guess is it got too wet. I love lantana but they can be dramatic. 😏 I can’t tell by just this one photo but it looks like the pot is too big so it’s staying wet for too long. If possible, repot it in a smaller space with fresh dry soil. I like to let mine almost suffer from being too dry, and then when they’re wilting and sad I water them. They can handle hot dry Texas summers and will actually also bloom more if you let them dry out! I hope that helps. I have them all over the place and love them!! πŸŒ±β˜€οΈβ€οΈ
@RealSimpleMama Thank you! This is part of a larger plant, it was nice and full and lush but when I brought it in for the winter, it lost most of its leaves. I slowly got it to start growing again and it’s been doing great, but I think I probably did overwater πŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™€οΈ and the pot is too big, I will take your advice and repot with fresh soil in smaller container! Thanks for your help πŸ’š
@BabeVila hey no problem! And when we bring them in for the winter, they’ll go dormant which means way less water in general. Mine will probably go 3-4 weeks in the winter depending on the size of the plant.
Great advice from @RealSimpleMama ! My only add in would be closer to light. My lantana are sunbathers. Profile shows 9ft in NW light. Maybe too far and/or not bright enough. Good luck πŸ‘
@MariansOasis I have a grow light which it’s doing well under but I will try finding space near one of my brighter windows! πŸ’š
