Support or prune the branches?

Hello! The branches of My Purple Heart have been breaking. This one makes three this week, all about the same size and weight. I'd heard I could let them grow like a curtain, but I don't know if that's the case with this one. Should I prune it? Since it's grown so much, it has less volume than before up top, and I don't want to lose it all. Is there any kind of support for this? #PurpleHeart

You can propagate the broken pieces to root them and then place them back in the same pot. It will fill in the empty spaces at the bottom making your plant look fuller. That is what I’ve done with mine. Although I did move it outside to a hanging basket.

Yes, that's what I've been doing. I'm waiting for them to develop roots. I see that yours is like a single branch with lots of leaves, and mine tend to split. Do you think I should cut off that extra weight and let the main branch grow?
@BrainyFuscia yes, it won’t hurt to cut it back so it branches out fuller out on its own.
I pruned mine cause it was droopy and it helped it tremendously with new growth, but they are brittle nonetheless
