New snake plant, pests?
I’ve been gifted a snake plant and I’ve noticed a few things I’m a bit concerned about, I’m fairly new to plants so haven’t had to deal with pests yet and everything I know is from looking online. One leaf has bright red spots on both sides of the leaf, then across a few leaves there’s light brown lumps/streaks. I haven’t been able to find anything overly similar to compare it to. There was also some webbing but looking at the size of it I think that was an actual spider, rather than a mite. Apart from the above the plant seems healthy apart from some brown tips, new growth coming through

@Jonneh 👋🏻you might have spider mites, I don’t know what those red things are but for the spider mites, rinse the plant down outside with a hose or in the shower, then wipe the leaves down with 70% isopropyl alcohol and a soft cloth. Make sure you get the webs as well. Isolate it from your other plants for a couple of weeks. You might have to wipe it down with alcohol a few times to make sure you got it all. Hope that helps!
