I think it looks perfect. I don’t soak my air plants very often as #greg suggests because I mist them daily. You can always snooze the water schedule if you don’t feel like any of your plants are ready for their watering. Despite what the app says, my small collection of air-plants are still healthy and looking good.
πŸͺ΄πŸ’šI see it great, keep in mind that sometimes the App makes wrong observations.
At #PlantInfo we have info that says you should put it in water once a week for 20-30 minutes...etc. Come in to read more about air plants.
I don't think you're doing anything wrong. Seems you're doing everything right and your Tillandsia looks amazing. πŸ™‚
I have a green thumb with all my plants….. except air plants. I have killed every single one!!!!! I follow all the directions and they all die. πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ
I wonder if the "it looks sad" is related to where you told the app it's located? I had several plants it said needed more light. Your plant looks very healthy, I don't think you need to change anything.
It looks great. One thing I did learn from air plantsοΏΌ is to make sure you let them dry upside down before you put them back in their spot. If there’s water left in between their leaves it will rot
As @WayoutRanch said it might based on location. Look at the bottom of this plants info and Greg will usually show tips that say β€œconsider another pot” or β€œmove me closer to sun” when it says the plant is sad.
It looks good to me…sometimes the app has us doing a little more research.
@HyggeVibes that’s why I’m so scared with it myself 😩
Y’all are so encouraging
@Sumwhere It looks great to me. I set mine upside down in a cup of water once a week for half hour to an hour. I was told by the seller, the plant store owner, to not get the roots wet. Then I take them out, shake off, and dry upside down on a towel or newspaper. Then when completely dry, they go back in their containers. They are pretty forgiving. They don’t mind if they are in the water longer or on the paper longer. Even overnight to dry. Then, they don’t care where I put them! Just enjoy them!
