@IFoundACoolRock Love a good $10 rescue storyโฆ.sheโs lucky to have landed with you!The Prismacolor Lemon Lime is such a fast grower once sheโs happy, and it sounds like sheโs already thriving! Here are a few tips to help her keep that glow-up goingโฆ.Support is key A bendable moss pole is perfect. You can train her early so she doesnโt get leggy or floppy as she stretchesโฆ.Bright, indirect light is her sweet spotโฆ.too much direct sun and those pretty neon leaves might fade or crisp. Near a bright window but not touching it is idealโฆ..Water when top 1โ2 inches are dry. She doesnโt like to sit soggy but also doesnโt want to dry out like a cactusโฆ.Wipe those leaves every now and then so she can photosynthesize like the queen she is.Youโre already doing amazing and bonusโฆ.she propagates easily if you ever wanna share the love ๐ Keep us posted on her journey!
I canโt provide specific advice for this particular type of philodendron, but I have a passion for philodendrons and own a few. One important tip is to ensure that you use well-draining soil and maintain a moisture level thatโs just right, not soggy. However, I highly recommend proven winners. They consistently produce high-quality plants, and for just ten bucks, itโs an incredible deal! - what a steal! ๐ฅฐ๐๐ป
Omg! Thank you both so much! She has a ton of roots and just so happy, obviously shes been through it with the bare spots but shes growing great! Thank you for all the tips! I will definitely keep you posted! As for the sun it is a very shady north window (snow sticks around until late April if it wants ha) is that still too much for her? It also stay humid where shes at in the sumer. I was cleaning the leafs for its sapping but didnt want to over do it! Glad to know i can pander her :) thank you!
THE WORST POSSIBLE THING HAPPENED ๐ญ She did not like the attempt of the moss stick as he was already attached to a small stick. It was too much for her and she snapped at the bottom ๐ญ ive had her for a bit and I hope this is a blessing in disguise so the 2 other branches can grow with more support and care than what the previous one had. I did cut the broken stem down to the node and watered the plant (she needed it anyways).im hoping with her strong roots she recovers just fine!...? This is my official year taking on plants , it started with 1 h20 plant ๐๐คฃ so im trying to research the app and get as much helpful advice as possible. I FEEL SO BAD FOR TREEYONCE! ๐ the propagating I know most likely wont work especially on the stem but I did clip it near a fresh, green spot of the stem with a leaf connected so I hope that encourages growth. Does anyone have any tips on recovery? ๐๐ญ
