Plant arrived today, seems very sickly
This venus fly trap arrived today, via FedEx, shipped from CA to NC. It doesn't look excessively dry, but the foilage is a darker olive green color (not a healthy vibrant green usually seen on plants). None of the mouths (?) have any hint of color. I gave it some fresh distilled water and have set it on our back porch so it can get plenty of fresh air and sunlight. Eventually it will live in the kitchen to thrive on drain gnats and any other hapless bugs.
Is this plant doomed or just stunned from horrible shipping conditions. the little clamshell container had no airholes. I realize this is a plant, not an animal, but plants need "air" too!

3โ pot with drainage

@FitTurkishsage you need to pull it out of its pot and look at the rhizome. It should be firm and either green or white. If it's squishy or black the plant is dead. It looks dead but if the rhizome is still healthy it'll put out new traps!
