@GracesOasis140 Hi Grace! It's in a small pot so don't water until the first inch of soil is dry. You can use your finger or a chopstick put it into the top of the soil and inch or to your first knuckle if it's wet wait a couple of days then come back and check it again. Always check your plant first before you water using the app. When the soil is dry and you water it then manually update the app it eventually will learn your plant schedule. The elephant bushes stats say that it's a foot away from light it needs to be way closer to a window. This plant likes bright indirect light. So move it closer to a window and don't water it until the soil is dry. I hope this helps! πŸ’š
Hi! Just what @princesspitstop said! And I will add if the stem is mushy you may want to try to β€œchop and prop.” Sometimes it’s the only way to save the plant when it’s been overwatered. Is it mushy on the main stem or just the one that’s sticking out with black on the end? The one sticking out with black on the end, I would cut off (with sterilized shears) either way so your plant can stop putting energy to that and redirect to growing new leaves and roots. But if the main stem is mushy then I would suggest considering the chop and prop methodβ€”it’s less scary than it sounds! πŸ’–
