Yellow spots on dumb cane

Was given a dumb cane and everything was going fine until I noticed small yellow spots all over the leaves. Tried spraying neem oil a couple of times over the past couple of weeks. It has infected the new shoot. What should I do? It’s placed very near a window that’s usually left ajar to let some wind in. And it can get pretty windy sometimes. Could that be a contributing factor?
5ft to light, indirect
3” pot with drainage
Last watered 1 week ago
When I had a dumb cane, I found it to be incredibly sensitive to temperature and humidity. It might be good to put it somewhere away from the drafty window
@AmberMallow hope I can stop this yellow spots and blotches from spreading
I have a book on houseplants with a page for diffenbachia. Idk if Greg's gonna let me share the picture tho
Anyway, it says yellowing lower leaves, as well as dropping leave is caused by low temperature or drafts. Pale leaves might happen if it gets too much bright/direct sun. They want 60-75F/15-24C temperature and higher humidity
It’s looking blotchy now
Another book I have says diffenbachia grow well in north and east facing windows
@AmberMallow it has been facing East πŸ˜…
@Desiree23 haha, ok. the window facing recommendations are generalizations, so I guess ignore that. Based on my own experience and the two books I have, I think your best bet is to get it out of any drafts. If it's still unhappy, it might be worthwhile to get a thermometer and hygrometer and see what the temperature and humidity are doing
It occured to me it may also be spider mites? I've never had to treat a plant for spider mites, but that seems worth investigating
@AmberMallow Thank you for all of the advice
