Seven color crystal boll

I got these with a package of cuttings I got from Etsy. Has anyone used them for watering while on vacation? Any experiences?

These came with a water propagation set I ordered off Amazon. Pretty sure they're just orbeez, used for a little freebee. Not entirely sure though

They dont do much. Id rather just use it for flowers ppl give me in a vase than my plants
