@Thujagardia those pale patches on the leaves are classic signs of leaf spot or sunscald. In pepper drama terms, that means either a fungus/bacteria decided your plant was a spa day, or the leaves got roasted like they fell asleep on a tanning bed. Here’s how to get it back to diva status…. Snip off the worst-looking leaves so the plant stops wasting energy on them. Boost airflow crowded foliage is basically a gossip lounge for plant diseases. Water at the base only, so you’re not giving fungal spores a free hot tub party on the leaves. Spritz neem oil or copper fungicide (your choice) weekly think of it as pepper plant perfume that also keeps the bad guys away. And pro tip from the plant my grandmother’s backroom secrets vault…slip a crushed calcium tablet into the soil. Peppers LOVE the extra minerals, and it toughens up their leaves like a personal trainer for plant muscles.
