In general, I would say remove them, but be careful and try not to remove like more than 25-30% at a time waiting a couple of weeks in between pruining. If the leaf isn't totally dead, wait till it completely moved on and easy to pluck off the plant. Some plants are more finicky than others, so I'd research a little to see if your specific plant has any requirements. Hope this helps!
