It’s mold, but pretty sure a harmless kind. could just mean your soil is staying a bit too damp for a tad too long, (not that your prayer plant probably minds it 😜). Might be worth checking things out if you haven’t repotted in a while, maybe adding in some more soil with a tiny bit more drainage. Mine did this a while ago, and I just trimmed up any dead parts and moved it to a place with a bit more air flow. But it’s nothing too alarming unless it starts growing like crazy everywhere!
@Stephazar thank you so much! I figured mold bc duh mold looks like that, just didn’t know if it was alarming for the plant in the way it could be for us. She is striving!! She is due for a repot, she grows like crazy! To me that says she’s healthy, so I was just curious that this is forming! I do 3/4 a cup every 7 days it says on here to do!
Yeah she looks healthy and beautiful! Sometimes mold just happens randomly lol especially in certain regions. Does the soil get dry on the top 1-2 inches before you water? Sometimes Greg can be off too with the water timing at first cause there’s always going to be little nuances with our plants and their situation! 😊
