Help! My moon cactus is failing fast. I've had almost a y...
Iβve heard that some stores will splice two different cacti together (the orange bulbous one and the tall part) to make them more visually appealing, but the cacti grow at different rates causing them to eventually wither. I think it might be too late for yours, but itβs something to look into further.
Ok, to correct my previous comment: the top cacti is a moon cacti and the bottom is a dragon fruit plant, the moon cacti doesnβt photo synthesize so it sucks all the nutrients from the dragon fruit causing it to die. If you want too save the dragon fruit cacti you need to cut off the moon cacti, and if you want to keep the moon cacti youβll need to graft it to a new dragon fruit cacti. The moon cacti is a parasite grafted to a dragon fruit host to make it β¨prettyβ¨.
