Air plant very dry? Any reasons or solutions?

It was in the office over my holiday break, but was soaked before I left in line with its schedule, should these get water more often in the winter? The bigger one behind it seems uneffected, but the β€œball moss” little one is all spindly/less green than before I left. Any advice/reason/solution would be very helpful! #AirPlant

How often do you water them? They should at least get a good long soak once a week. And even better if you mist inbetween.

For now you can soak it in water and hope it springs back to life. But it can be it dried out so much it won't spring back.

Or if it has already flowered, it can also be that it just died of old age.
@Nathaliezyx4 I was doing an hour long soak every 2 weeks based on the advice of the plant store I bought it from, but I can switch to once a week and add misting to this one to try and help it bounce back, thanks! I have had these since September following the biweekly soak, and it hasn’t flowered yet. I did move them closer to a desktop grow light I got for a different plant that’s on for 8 hrs a day… could it be drying out with the increased light?
Yes that might be the problem starter, because more light means it needs more water.
But switching to once a week instead of once every two weeks is definitely better!
It needs a lot more water! Soak her for 15 every week, and you can actually mist a little bit everyday if you want! Some people actually water theirs twice a week, which isn't bad either. Just hang it upside down to dry to avoid rot.
