Yellow spots on alocasia
I have these yellow spots on my alocasia’s newest leaf. I can’t see any sign of pests and it’s only on this new leaf. Google is just throwing out pretty much everything it could be 😂

@Seedstarter it seemed more like lighter patches at first that then developed into these yellow patches. I feel like I’ve barely watered it but maybe even that was too much
@Sophieee310 From the look of it, you only need to cut back a little bit since the size of the spot indicates how much you overwatered
I have a Alocasia Dragon Scale too. My experience is when one of my leaves start getting spots. the spots gets bigger causing the whole leaf to turn yellow. It’s because a new leaf is sprouting and the energy from an older leaf is given to to new leaf. On my Alocasia, as soon as a new leaf sprouts, a leaf dies.
@SweetAzurebluet this is a new leaf though, my older leaves are all fine. It hasn’t gotten any worse so hoping it might be a bit of damage from overwatering previously maybe
