I don’t know what that plant is (I’m a beginner) but, because there are so many in there - how about calling it β€œThe Peanut Gallery”?
@Denisekv11 I love that lolll
Mr Tickles
Both good suggestions! Peter Parker is OBVIOUSLY a name for spider plants. Silly Greg.
I love Sensitive Plants but I’ve been cursed with them. If I got another, I might name it Elmo.
@VaultingOrchid, hello πŸ‘‹πŸΌ, The plant your showin is a Mimosa pudica, commonly known as the sensitive plant, touch-me-not, or shameful plant...so why not just call her Mimo πŸ˜‰ short for Mimosa pudicaπŸ€”πŸ‘ŒπŸ½
@VaultingOrchid you can change your plant's names to anything you like! From your oasis, click on the plant and then the three little dots in the n-right ET mm
@VaultingOrchid I LOVEEE mimosa pΓΊdica. It’s so hard for me to not touch them. They’re really cool, but a SPIDER MITE MAGNET. This is also one of THEE THIRSTIEST plants I’ve ever had. So keeping it moist is a must, or you’ll lose leaves. It’s considered a weed in most of the United States so killing it is hard unless you’re touching it all time (which uses up a lot of the plants energy). ALSO!! When I tried to repot mine, I thought the roots were rotting even through they looked healthy. Why? Because their roots emit a stinky odor primarily made up of sulfur as a defense mechanism when touched. So if you ever play with the roots and it smells like someone farted…. That’s why
