When to repot zz plant?
I was recently gifted this zz plant, and it is quite root bound. The pot isn't circular and the roots are pushing out the raised bottom. Should I repot? (Also it has a small spider mite problem so I'm going to spray with neem oil, any other tips?) #ZzPlant

I bought one and left it on the enclosed porch. A month later, it seemed to have doubled in size. The plastic pot was misshapen from being root bound. The color of the plastic got lighter as the root pushed against it.
I uppotted, it's gotten taller and shooting new branches.
