Tips on how to quickly dry out soil?
Got a Prayer Plant a few days ago, and she has some yellowing.. the soil was pretty wet. Haven't watered her since and she's still turning yellow.
Any tips on how to dry out the soil quickly? I can't repot her because I dont have the right soil, pot and because it's winter in my area.
Thanks in advance 🙂

I had to use a blow dryer om the low setting and pressing the "cool down" buttons to try not to shock mine. It helped but always remember you need to dry the bottom more the the top bc it's the hardest to get dry. If it is yellowing j would suggest removing it from the pot to clean the roots bc it's probably got some rot, I have actually Baked my soil to dry it out and also kill bacteria and then reused it bc I could just get fresh soil. Wash the pot thoroughly with soap and hot water while soil is baking and plant roots are drying out. Use peroxide on the roots after trimming brown mushy bits and then put cinnamon on the roots to help keep bacteria out and is also a root hormone. You can Sprinkle some intl your soil too to help keep gnats awah

I removed the plant from the pot and luckily I've found no signs of root rot. Should I remove all the soil to dry it?

@RaineStorm I would. That way it's not sitting there gathering more bacteria etc. Some say you can pour boiling water on the soil to help eliminate bacteria/fungi and prevent more forming. That seems messy for me so I will put mine on a baking sheet (usually you can spread it out and let the hot sun beam on it until dry but it's winter and raining here so it's my only option) and bake on the lowest temp until it's well dried out and then I let it sit out and just having it airing out a bit
